Being a lifelong gun owner, I always thought I was a decent shot and
that I could handle myself in a dangerous situation. I even had a CCW
for nearly ten years. After taking the CTFT  ( Civilian Tactical
Firearms Training ) I class at Nevada Shooters I quickly became grateful
that I never had to use my handgun to defend myself.  Could I hit the
target? Of course. Could I reliably hit center mass of an attacker in a
smooth and efficient manner that I could trust my life or the life of my
loved ones with? No way in hell. The realization of this was sobering.
Thanks to Jim, I quickly learned tips and tricks to increase
my speed and accuracy.  By the end of the day I was able to put two
rounds within a 2" square while moving to cover, clearing malfunctions,
and dealing with multiple attackers. The improvement was amazing. From
the core movements to the minute details, it all came together.

Thanks to Nevada Shooters, I quickly learned that owning a pistol and
being able to shoot steel plates at the range did no more to prepare me
to defend my life than owning a guitar prepared me to be a rock-star!
Training is the key, and don't be fooled into thinking you can get this
from a book or from video alone. You need the experience that
knowledgeable trainers can give you, and Nevada Shooters are they
perfect folks fill the bill. I can't wait until I can make it back for
the advanced class!

Just wanted to express my satisfaction with my recent Nevada Shooters
tactical course.

Your teaching methods dramatically improved my shooting skills across
the board. I went from "paper plate" accuracy to consistently hitting
2" targets while on the move. I never dreamed I could shoot this well.

More importantly your class provided me the knowledge to continue
developing my skills at my local range. Before your class I was
shooting at paper plates and had a grouping the size of a paper plate.
I now group sub 3" in a training session, shooting at targets from 9
to 27 feet, using the multiple sight pictures taught in your class and
including tap-rack-bang drills. That is sub 3" for the entire session
of 100 rounds.

My range partners are in disbelief at my improvement. Eventually I'll
tell them about Nevada Shooters but for now I enjoy being the best
shooter =)

In short, the Nevada Shooters tactical training class is the best
money I have ever spent on firearms education.
